Reopening Safety Guidelines
As Governor Pritzker's Restore Illinois Plan moves back to Phase 3. During this phase, businesses providing outdoor recreation are allowed to open with specific safety practices in place.
Reopening Peoria Zoo safely and successfully will require numerous modifications, careful observation and quick action if/when modifications are necessary. Below is a list of changes in our current operations.

All visitors over the age of 2 must wear a face covering

Visitors must follow the marked, one-way path around the Zoo

No reentry will be allowed

Zoo closes at 5:00

There will not be indoor seating available

The following buildings are closed to visitors
Tropics Building, Conservation Center, Tree House, Domestic Animal Barn -
Gift Shop is open at 25% capacity

Lodge, Barton and Boardwalk Restrooms are all open to visitors

Trash can availability is limited (please take your trash with you, if possible)

No Interactive programs will be available at this time
