Winter Warming – Members Only Event
Winter Warming, a Members-Only Winter Event.
During this open-house style event, members will experience the Zoo in winter and the warmth of the Zambezi River Lodge’s fireplace. Members can also enjoy
activities and light treats.

Science has never been more exciting, with up-close animal encounters, tours, experiments, crafts and more! For students 5-13 years old.
Each month is a new topic designed to help meet state standards and ignite a love of animals in young learners.
*Parents are welcome to drop children off after sign-in. Parents who wish to attend the session must also enroll for the activity.

The Zoo will be temporarily closed from 2/24-2/28 for maintenance of our grounds and exhibits. We will reopen at 10am on Saturday, March 1st.
World Giraffe Day
Happy World Giraffe Day! Today we celebrate the tallest animal on the longest day of the year! We’ll be from 10am-5pm with last admission at 4:30pm.
This is event is part of our Conservation Days Series- These exciting days are celebrated around the world and these days dive into the realm of certain animals or species and highlight conservation efforts. There will be self-guided activities/crafts which will give guests a chance to learn about some of their favorite animals and how to help with their preservation. Interpretations or Keeper Chats may take place depending on the different animal and topics.
